Sponsor a Small Business

Help us to help struggling small businesses based in and around Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Sponsoring a Small Business is such an amazing gift; whether you have a specific business/business type in mind, or don’t mind who you help, your sponsorship will be so gratefully received.

By sponsoring a small business you give them:

  • A paid listing in the Made in Grimsby and Cleethorpes Directory, with priority features above free members,
  • The small business will receive an introduction of their own across social media and on the MIG&C blog.
  • They will also be prioritised for features across social media (whenever they tag MIG&C).
  • They will also receive regular emails offering tips and tricks for their business from my own knowledge and that of other local service providers.
  • Priority Networking and discounts for Workshops

We have a waiting list of businesses who have requested sponsorship, however if you have a specific business or business type that you would like to sponsor, just drop me an email and I will sort that out for you:

Sponsoring a Small Business will give you Official Local Legend Status, and that is to be commended. So THANK YOU!

If you would prefer to make a donation to Made in Grimsby & Cleethorpes, to help support what we do on the Directory, as well as across social media and the products we sell, then feel free to drop something into our Tip Jar.

Overall, anyone who values local businesses, entrepreneurship, and community development may find reasons to sponsor a small business. Sponsors play a crucial role in providing financial support, mentorship, and visibility, allowing small businesses to flourish and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Sponsoring a small business involves providing financial support to a small business, allowing them to become a full member of Made in Grimsby & Cleethorpes which will help boost their online presence.

As a sponsor, you are not expected to do anything else; you can stay anonymous if you choose or you can shout it from the rooftops, whichever you feel comfortable. You do not have to engage with the small business you sponsor, unless you want to in which case you might choose to offer mentorship or any other resources you are able to offer. However, I do want to stress that this is not expected from any sponsor. If you would rather just support a small business financially, that is more than enough.

Sponsoring a small business allows you to make a positive impact in your community. It supports local entrepreneurship, fosters economic growth, and helps create job opportunities. Additionally, sponsoring a small business can be personally fulfilling and showcases your commitment to social responsibility.

The benefits of sponsorship can vary depending on the arrangement. You may gain brand exposure and recognition (if you are a business and want to make your sponsorship public), foster valuable relationships with local entrepreneurs, and be acknowledged for your support within the community. Additionally, sponsoring a small business allows you to play an active role in shaping its success.

Whether you are a business or individual sponsor, we will always let you know which business you are sponsoring (unless you specifically ask us not to tell you).

You can sponsor as many small businesses as you like, and they can be purchased through the links above in one order (feel free to combine annual and monthly sponsorships, if you wish).

We have two sponsorship options available:

The first is for £10 a month, which can be cancelled at any time.

The second is £120 for an annual sponsorship. No part refunds are available, so you cannot cancel before the end of the 12-month period.

Both methods will automatically renew at the end of their respective period, until cancelled.

Yes! You are more than welcome to choose the small business you wish to sponsor.

Once you have ordered your sponsorship/s, please email me at kat@madeingrimsby.co.uk with details of which business you would like to sponsor. If you don’t have a specific business in mind, you can also opt for a specific business type; just let us know and we’ll do what we can to accomodate this.

Yes, if there is a specific industry or location (Grimsby, Cleethorpes, maybe even a specific street), then drop me an email at: kat@madeingrimsby.co.uk and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

The duration of a sponsorship commitment is completely up to you. You can sign up for the Monthly Sponsorship of £10 a month, which can be cancelled at any time. Or you can sign up for the Annual Sponsorship of £120 a year, which can not be part refunded.

Please note that both sponsorship types renew automatically, until cancelled.

Although no expectations are placed on any sponsors, if you would like to offer some level of mentorship, guidance or expertise to the businesses you support, then this will be gratefully accepted.

Your experience and insights can be invaluable to a small business, helping them navigate challenges and make informed decisions.

If you would like to offer more, then drop me an email at kat@madeingrimsby.co.uk
