Get Fit with Jess Foster: Personal Trainer in Grimsby and Cleethorpes

It always feels like a good day, when I get to introduce a brand-new member to you all, and today I have the absolute pleasure of introducing you to Jess Foster Fitness.

Based in Cleethorpes, Jess is a qualified personal trainer and L1 CrossFit Trainer.

To welcome Jess to the fold, I thought I would put together a blog post explaining some of the reasons why you might choose to work with a personal trainer, so here it is. Enjoy.

What are the benefits of training with a Personal Trainer?

Accountability.

Motivation is a big one for me personally, and many of us aren’t as active as we should be. It’s really easy to make excuses as to why you can’t train or add a little movement to your day. However, working with a personal trainer like Jess Foster will help to motivate you towards meeting your goals. On a financial level, knowing we will have to pay for our trainer whether we turn up or not is a huge push to show up. On an emotional level, it’s easier to let ourselves down than someone who is counting on us to show up.

Support.

For many of us, no matter how much our loved ones think they’re being supportive, most of the time, our friends and family have a habit of offering unhelpful advice that isn’t supportive at all. Therefore, having someone stand behind us, pushing us and believing in what we can achieve can be the big difference between success and failure, especially when it comes to our fitness.

Guidance.

One of the biggest things that stops me working out, is having absolutely no clue what to do during each session, so having someone offer some guidance would be a huge thing for me. Even just giving me short-term and long-term plans based around my goals would be incredibly helpful because my brain just can’t pull that side of things together.

That guidance can be something as simple of telling us which body part to target each session, to something more intensive like ensuring that we are using the time we spend in the gym more productively.

Beat Boredom.

I don’t know about you, but I find exercise boring. Doing the same things every day just numbs my brain, but the problem is that I don’t know what else to do to make it more interesting for me. Hiring a Personal Trainer will help shake things up and keep my brain interested in what I need to do.
