Silver Jewellery That Tells a Story: Georges Gems Craftsmanship in Grimsby

  • by

Two weeks and two blog posts in a row? What is this Kat? Are you sick? Nope, I’m just kicking my butt in gear and getting this blog back to what it was always intended to be. A place to celebrate small businesses and our amazing town/s (Grimsby and Cleethorpes, if you’re new around these parts!)

For the second week, I wanted to introduce you to another member of Made in Grimsby…

George’s Gems

Run by Lindy, George’s Gems is named after her Dad who sadly passed away.

What George’s Gems is:

Starting out as a hobby, it has grown into a business making handmade silver and personalised jewellery from her home workshop.

Lindy works around four crazy kids, roping her husband and a few other family members in to help, learning how to make items as they go. So George’s Gems really is a family affair!

What does George’s Gems sell?

Their range of silver jewellery includes:

  • Anklets

  • Fidget Rings (as someone with anxiety, I think these are an amazing idea. I play with my jewellery a lot – I think as a result of having stopped biting my nails a few years back – so these could be incredibly helpful)

  • Rings

  • Necklaces

  • Earrings

  • Men’s Jewellery

  • Toe Rings

  • Beaded Bracelets and Rings

  • Full Bangles with Charms

  • Wire Bangles

Where to find George’s Gems:

You can find Lindy and George’s Gem’s at Anything Goes, which is located above Taphouse, at the Boating Lake in Cleethorpes (the building that used to be The Discovery Centre).

You can also find her work on Facebook, Instagram and her website so make sure you go check her out 🙂
