A Shopper’s Guide to Abbeygate, Grimsby: Uncovering the Top Small Businesses.

  • by

Abbeygate shopping precinct has been a key part of Grimsby Town Centre since 1983 (the year I was born). Previously the home of the Taplow’s Wine & Spirit Department (where my Mum worked from 1964 to 1969), the area had been part of the brewery industry for many decades. The area retains much of the original buildings.

Whilst the general landscape of Abbeygate has changed a lot in the past 40 years, it always retains its reputation for being the home to a variety of classy, upmarket and independently owned shops and eateries.

If you haven’t had a stroll through the area recently, here are a few small businesses in Abbeygate Grimsby to explore…

All businesses are listed in alphabetical order…

Every effort has been taken to ensure the information in this blog post is correct, however, please refer to the website and social media pages of the small business you are interested in, for the most up-to-date information.
